About these instructions
CoBroker is a tool run by and for the STAREB broker chapter to help member brokers submit and organize listings through Facebook Messenger. This page explains what information CoBroker holds about you and how to have it deleted. Deletion is handled manually by a person on our side — there is no self-service delete button in Messenger or elsewhere in the product today, so the request steps below are how deletion actually happens.
What information CoBroker holds about you
These are the same categories described in our Privacy Policy:
- Basic Messenger info: the sender ID, username, and display name Facebook provides for your conversation with CoBroker.
- The text of your messages, including any listing details you describe.
- A display name and PRC license number you typed in yourself during onboarding.
- Photos of the property you're listing, if you sent any (stored with location and camera metadata removed).
- Listing details extracted from your message — property type, location, price, size, and similar fields — including any draft or published listing built from them.
How to request deletion
To have your information deleted, email jeromeblanco@gmail.com from the same contact you use, and include:
- The Messenger display name or username you use with CoBroker, so we can locate your records.
- A short statement that you want your CoBroker information deleted.
You do not need an account or password to make this request — CoBroker has no per-broker login. If you can message us from the same Facebook account you used with the bot, that helps us confirm the request is yours.
What deletion removes
When we process your request, we remove the information CoBroker holds about you, specifically:
- Any draft listings prepared from your messages.
- Any of your listings published to the STAREB board are taken down so they no longer appear there.
- The message text, self-entered display name and PRC number, and photos associated with your records.
Because this is a manual process, we handle deletion requests as soon as is practical after we receive them. We may retain a minimal record that a deletion request was made and completed.
